Award Winning Restaurant – The Rocks Mornington, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Established in November 2001, by the De Santis Family, after 30 years of history in various restaurants on the Mornington Peninsula, the rocks offers a unique fresh air, waterfront dining experience for the whole family to enjoy.
Being positioned on the water, the rocks is primarily a modern seafood restaurant. Having said that, it also offers an array of non seafood and vegetarian options along with light lunch alternatives.
Executive chef, Xavier Nalty has been at the helm for the past 11 years, delivering his modern approach to classical cooking. Joining his team is Jonathan Mackie, after working at a number of city restaurants including Bistro Thierry & The Press Club, has some fresh & exciting ideas.
With a pantry so diverse on its alluring doorstep, being the Mornington Peninsula, and a team that strives to extract its fruits, it is no wonder its annual reviews and recommendations in various media for the past 12 years, along with the support of its loyal customers, has led the rocks to become a recognized institution for fine food.
There are two separate dining environments: the dining room or the covered and heated deck. Both offer the same menu, both offer unique but different atmospheres.
Reservations can be made for the dining room any time of the day, whereas the deck can only be reserved at dinner. Our day trade is very active, which allows our tables to rotate and accommodate customers on a walk in basis.
The Rocks is also in partnership with the Mornington Yacht Club in delivering its food & beverage requirements. Its private function room facilities are available to Members and Non-Members, with non-members incurring a small fee. A world class facility for all to enjoy.
